Copy of Embossing & Debossing
Go From Ordinary to Game-Changing
When you want to stand out from the crowd both Embossing and Debossing are great custom techniques that leave an unforgettable impression.
Embossing is the practice of creating a raised design or text on the surface of your garment. An Embossed image or logo has a 3-D appearance. The image is raised and appears to be coming out of the garment.
Debossing: This is the technique when the logo is pressed into the fabric. This method is often not suitable for use with puff.

METAL MOLD OF YOUR LOGO OR DESIGN
Embossing and Debossing use heat and custom metal molds to imprint your logo onto a garment. This creates a permanent raised (Embossing) or recessed (Debossing) design, with clean, bold lines.
The molds can be made in various sizes (X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and Jumbo). The cost of the mold is determined by the desired size of the mold and the intracity of the logo design.
FABRICS: Embossing and Debossing can be preformed on a wide variety of fabrics. The best results are achieved with thicker fabrics such as fleece hoodies, sweatshirts and sweatpants.

- Cotton

Cost & Turnaround Times
Cost: The cost of each mold can vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the artwork. Molds can be made in various sizes, X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and Jumbo.
Pricing: Pricing can start as low as $300 per logo mold.
Turnaround: Standard 3- 5 business days depending on quantity and printing specs. 1-day turnaround is available for extreme rush orders, depending on production schedule.
Puff or No Puff?
Polyester, leather, and pleather fabrics can be done with or without puff. The advantage of not using puff is that there is no backing material behind the design. This is often preferred on high-end polyester garments. The image will not have the same contrast relief as images done with puff.
Without puff the image on these fabrics will gradually relax and fade away. Like embroidery pellon, the excess puff backing is trimmed close to the design but will remain with the garment.
