What You Need To Know
-
A STANDARD-SIZE LOGO
Embroidered logos are measured in stitches. The more complex your logo, the higher the stitch count. A standard-size logo has less than 8,000 stitches. Most logos require far less than 8,000.A standard left chest logo size is under 5 inches, though it can be as much as 7 inches.
-
DIGITIZING
Designing for embroidery – called digitizing – is an art done by skilled professionals. It can be very time consuming and expense.
We have the expertise and experience, as well as the equipment, to process large, complex logos. -
LETTER SIZE
Lettering is the biggest challenge in embroidery. Because embroidery uses needles and threads, letters cannot be smaller than 0.25 inches high. In addition, lettering size is occasionally optimized for embroidery. For example: Puff Embroidery and lettering.
-
LARGE, DETAILED LOGOS
Please be aware that large logos can contain tens of thousands of threads which can put a strain on the garment causing sagging. Typically, the better the quality of the garment reduces this effect.
