Embossing is the practice of creating a raised design or text on the surface of your garment. An embossed image or logo has a 3-D appearance, raised and appearing to come out of the garment — a bold, tactile way to make your logo stand out.
Embossing uses heat and a custom metal mold to imprint your logo onto a garment, creating a permanent raised design with clean, bold lines.
The molds can be made in various sizes (X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and Jumbo). The cost of the mold is determined by the desired size and the intricacy of the logo design

Fabrics
Embossing can be performed on a wide variety of fabrics. The best results are achieved with thicker fabrics such as fleece hoodies, sweatshirts and sweatpants.

Cost: The cost of each mold can vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the artwork. Molds can be made in various sizes, X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and Jumbo.
Pricing: Pricing can start as low as $300 per logo mold.
Turnaround: Standard 3-5 business days depending on quantity and printing specs. 1-day turnaround is available for extreme rush orders, depending on production schedule.
Puff or No Puff?
Polyester, leather, and pleather fabrics can be done with or without puff. The advantage of not using puff is that there is no backing material behind the design, often preferred on high-end polyester garments, though the image won't have the same contrast relief as images done with puff.
Puff is a foam backing similar to embroidery pellon. Puff gives an embossed logo a raised appearance and contrast prominence. Cotton, fleece, and polar fleece fabrics require puff. Without puff, the image on these fabrics will gradually relax and fade away.
